Penguins Of Antarctica
For many people, the first thing they think about when they hear the name Antarctica is penguins. Likewise, when some people hear the word penguins they automatically think of Antarctica and cold weather. It's true, these wonderful creatures known as penguins contribute greatly to the population of the continent of Antarctica. Although there are at least seventeen different species of penguins on earth today, only seven of those species can be found in Antarctica.
The kinds of penguins that live in Antarctica are the Gentoo, Macaroni penguins, King penguins, Chinstrap penguins, Emperor and Adelie penguins. The Emperor penguin is the largest and tallest of all Antarctica penguins, and the Adelie penguin species is the smallest.
